After I finished my studies I worked for wholesaler companies as a project manager creating price offers and papperworks all the day. Few years later I was responsible for real lighting projects from the planning to real construction.
I spent five years in this position and gained a lot of experience in lighting design during this time. In the early years I used Litestar lighting design software, issued by manufacturers with their own database. Most of the cases the lighting design job was a simple lighting calculation.
In 2008 I moved to a different company where I worked as an electrical and lighting design engineer. This year I used first Dialux for a facade lighting project, because of it's rendering ability and counted from this job Dialux is my primary tool for lighting design.
In 2012 I was memeber of open beta test team of Dialux Evo.
After 14 years practice in full time employment, and numerous successfully completed projects, me and my friend decided to create our own independent lighting design engineering company, 4-LD lighting design.
